Cold Shoulder
When first looking through these photos, I was listening to my Samba playlist on YouTube (I love listening to either Samba, Jazz, or Salsa instrumentals when working). The images and music fit so well together, that every time I wear this shirt, I feel like I'm in Rio. I'm weird, I know. Moving on.
Off the shoulder blouses have been on trend for a few months now, and I am LOVING it. Some have such cute detailing on the sleeves (ruffles, lantern, bell), while others feature bows around the waist. These kind of blouses are so feminine and chic, I might invest in some more!
My first ever blouse like this, is the star of today's post! Let's get into some details.
In my own opinion, showing off your collarbone is classy, sexy, and gives off some mystique. This top is perfect for a date, a brunch, lunch with your gals, or even vacation!
Honestly, the only trouble I found, was keeping the shirt on my arms, and not have it ride up my shoulders. If I don't make any exaggerated arm movements, then I'm fine. But there are times where the fabric rides up! In cases like this, I was recommended to use "fashion tape". It does help keep the fabric in place!
This particular top was purchased at Ann Taylor (no longer available), but similar ones can be found at just about any retail shop! They're very in right now!
For shoes, there are a ton of styles you can pair with this outfit. This time, I reached out for my wedges. I love that the weather is finally warm enough to wear open-toed shoes. Super frikken excited you guys!
These sunnies are from Lucky Selectism. This New York based brand focuses on design and quality - two things I really appreciate when it comes to just about anything! I think it's mega important to invest in a great pair of sunglasses. Our eyes are incredibly important, and deserve the proper protection all. year. round.
I like to go with these on a daily basis, since they're a neutral, classic color and shape.
If you've made it this far into this post, thank you so much! I really hope you've enjoyed this "Outfit of the Day"! Keep an eye out for the next one - it'll inspire your inner boss.
As always, I'd like to thank you for stopping by, and I hope you visit again. But before you go, I'd like to leave you with this quote:
