Darling Details

I'm the kind of person that truly suffers from the blues during the Winter. Having had some gorgeous sunlight these past few weeks, has perked me up tremendously. Spring is around the corner, and I could not be more excited!

Today, I'll show you one of my favorite go-to outfits.

I read somewhere once, that if you repeat something three times, it'll stick to your memory. My best advice when it comes to fashion is: Details, details, details!

Personally, there is not one piece in this outfit, that I love more than the next. I tend to like to let one item shine above the rest of the look, but this time, I chose to let every piece harmonize, and share the spotlight.

When it comes to jewelry, I always keep it minimal. This Michael Kors watch was a gift from my parents, from about 3 years ago. It's such a classic piece that will look great with an array of looks, for many years to come. It's worth the investment!

The shoes are from Nine West, and are one of my favorites. So much so, that I've been thinking of getting a pair in another color ... maybe nude?

Let's talk about the handbag! This Dooney and Bourke piece was also a gift from my parents (thanks mom and dad!).

I've had it for a number of years, and it still looks brand new. I normally don't like to carry around large bags, but a piece like this is perfect for running errands, or if you're doing very light shopping. It's spacious, elegant, and simply perfect for ringing in warmer weather.

I don't normally put on earrings, but for this look, I felt it would be incomplete without them. I reached out for my diamond studs, and it balanced the entire look!

Let's be real though, those are not real diamonds ... but they surely look like it! Fake it 'till you make it!

If you've made it this far into the post, thank you so much! I greatly appreciate it, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Before you move along with your day, I will leave you with this quote:
